A deal has been made for Bally's Corporation to buy Snipp Interactive for $5 million. Once the financial deal is done, the company will likely own about 9% of Snipp's common and outstanding shares.

Since the deal goes through, Bally's will have a licence for the SnippLOYALTY software for three years. The business will use Snipp's software on both its online and offline sites. It is planned that the first two launches will start in the second quarter of this year.

The two businesses have also joined forces, making Bally's the only casino that can offer games on Snipp's loyalty gaming app, Gambit.

In February of this year, Snipp Interactive made a legally binding deal with all of Gambit's shareholders to buy Gambit Digital Promotions. Gambit Rewards, which was bought outright, was part of the deal.

The market regulator has cleared Gambit as a consumer network that combines loyalty programmes with American online gambling and gaming. Matt Davey and David VanEgmond, two well-known gaming leaders and businessmen, were among its early investors.

As part of the business deal, the two companies will work together to change the name of the Gambit reward platform. Bally's will be the only company able to name the platform, and Gambit will have the company's free-to-play games. The reward points from Bally and the Play Tokens from Gambit will be able to be linked.
