The company's gaming properties in North America and Australia went back to how they were before Covid, which helped make up for some areas that are still limited.
But Konami said that the market is "on the road to recovery" as a whole. It also said that slot machines have "sold well" and that new game material has led to more sales.
The company also entered the video lottery terminal (VLT) market in New York State in the second quarter and said it planned to give Class II gaming machines to Native American groups.
Konami also said that it has plans to put the SYNKROS gaming management system in more places in North America.
Konami said, "In our slot machine business, many orders for different cabinets have been received, and shipments are planned for the second quarter and beyond, even though the market is very busy."
But the company did say that problems in the global supply chain have led to "rising parts costs and delivery delays." Because of this, Konami's earnings from this area dropped by 10% to ¥823m.
In the second quarter, it made ¥71.9bn in sales, with 11% coming from Gaming & Systems.
This is the third biggest part of the business, after Digital Entertainment, which brought in ¥50.8bn in Q2, and Sports, which brought in ¥11bn.
Only Amusement's income dropped from ¥3.6bn to ¥2.9bn in Q2, while the rest of the segments saw their top lines go up. Konami's total profit for the second quarter was ¥11.4bn, which is 16% less than the same time last year.

To have fun and be safe while gambling, it is important to gamble properly. Never risk more than you can afford to lose; instead, plan ahead and play within your means. To keep your head on straight and not chase your losses, take frequent breaks. Get a feel for the odds and remember that gambling is more of a pastime than a means to an end. Never gamble when under the influence of alcohol or stress, and be sure to keep track of your spending and time. Seek assistance from support groups or think about self-exclusion measures if gambling becomes harmful or stops being enjoyable.
