Lotto.com, an online lottery site, has added new technology to make it less harmful to the earth.
With this technology, digital QR codes are used instead of paper lottery play slips. The goal is to give people all over the country a digital lotto experience.
Also, since its start in 2022, the company has saved more than 5 million paper play slips.
People can buy draw-based and scratch lotto tickets at Lotto.com from any device, without having to download an app or make a deposit.
It also brings in customers, which helps raise money for things like state-funded organisations, education, and causes.
CEO of Lotto.com Inc. Thomas Metzger said, "By coming up with new tech-focused solutions and using these eco-friendly methods, Lotto.com is taking a major step towards a greener future."
"As a business that wants to create services and platforms that help the people we serve, Lotto.com will continue to prioritise and look into technology solutions that meet our commitment to environmental sustainability."

To have fun and be safe while gambling, it is important to gamble properly. Never risk more than you can afford to lose; instead, plan ahead and play within your means. To keep your head on straight and not chase your losses, take frequent breaks. Get a feel for the odds and remember that gambling is more of a pastime than a means to an end. Never gamble when under the influence of alcohol or stress, and be sure to keep track of your spending and time. Seek assistance from support groups or think about self-exclusion measures if gambling becomes harmful or stops being enjoyable.
